Terms of Service

Welcome to VidDub. By using our website, iOS app, or Android app, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using VidDub, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.

2. Description of service

VidDub provides AI-powered video translation, including:

• Speech recognition and transcription
• AI translation to multiple languages
• Bilingual subtitle generation
• AI voice dubbing
• Video processing and export

A free effect preview may be available for eligible short videos. It lets you preview translation quality. It is not a free trial of the full paid product: preview playback is limited, dubbing is locked, and longer videos require paid minutes. See Help.

3. User accounts

• You must sign in with a valid account. On the website and Android you may use Google; on the website and iOS you may use Sign in with Apple.
• Google and Apple keep separate accounts and separate minute balances.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• You must provide accurate information and keep it updated.
• You may not share your account with others.

4. Payment, credits, and subscriptions

VidDub uses minutes as translation credits. Translation consumption is billed in whole minutes; any portion of a minute is counted as one full minute.

Website: one-time minute packs are billed through Waffo. iOS App Store and Google Play handle in-app purchases and subscriptions. We offer pay-per-use purchases and recurring subscriptions as follows.

4.1 Pay-per-use

• One-time purchase of a fixed number of minutes; credits remain valid until fully used.
• Pay-per-use balance is not cleared when a subscription billing cycle ends.
• Minutes already used for translation are non-refundable.
• Eligible free effect preview jobs do not deduct paid minutes.

4.2 Subscription (monthly / yearly, apps only)

• Each billing cycle grants a fixed monthly minute allowance.
• A billing cycle is 30 days from your subscription start date (or from the end of the previous cycle)—not a calendar month.
• At the end of each cycle, unused subscription minutes for that cycle are removed and do not roll over.
• If you also have pay-per-use balance, that balance is kept across subscription cycles.
• Only one active subscription at a time. Subscriptions are sold in the iOS and Android apps, not in the browser checkout.
• Apple App Store subscriptions: payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation; the subscription renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage at https://apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions

4.3 Refunds

• Used credits are non-refundable.
• Refund requests for unused credits must be submitted through the platform where you paid (Waffo on the website, Google Play, or App Store) per their policies.
• Subscription refunds follow the policies of the platform store and applicable law.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use VidDub to:

• Upload content that infringes copyrights or intellectual property rights
• Process illegal, harmful, or offensive content
• Attempt to reverse engineer or hack our systems
• Resell or redistribute our services without authorization
• Upload malware or malicious content

6. Content ownership

• You retain all rights to your original content.
• You grant us a limited license to process your content for service delivery.
• Processed videos are kept in secure cloud storage for up to 24 hours, then automatically deleted.
• We do not claim ownership of your videos or translations.

7. Service availability

• We strive to maintain 99% service availability.
• We may perform maintenance with advance notice when possible.
• We are not liable for interruptions beyond our control.
• Processing times may vary based on video length and server load.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VidDub, its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the service
• Your violation of these terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Content you upload or process

10. Termination

• You may terminate your account at any time through the app settings or by contacting szsoftwell2026@gmail.com.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
• Upon termination, your data will be deleted according to our Privacy Policy.
• Unused credits may be forfeited upon termination for cause.

11. Changes to terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be notified through the product. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Shenzhen, Guangdong Province.
