Translate an English video to Chinese

English source, Simplified or Traditional Chinese target, then optional Chinese dubbing.

Use VidDub when the spoken language is English and you want Chinese subtitles or a Chinese voice. Choose Simplified Chinese or Traditional Chinese as the target. Traditional Chinese cannot be set as the source.

Settings in Workspace

• Source language: English.
• Target language: Chinese, or Traditional Chinese.
• Subtitles: Chinese only, or bilingual English + Chinese.
• Dubbing: after translation, pick a voice for the Chinese target if you need a spoken track.

Which Chinese to pick

Simplified Chinese is both a source and a target. Traditional Chinese is target-only. If your viewers read Traditional Chinese, set the target to Traditional Chinese even when the source is English.

Boundaries

This is video translation with burned-in subtitles, not a document translator and not a visual lip-sync tool. Credits, free preview limits, and 24-hour file retention are the same as the rest of VidDub.
