Pricing compared

VidDub charges 1 minute of credit per minute of video. On the web you buy one-time packs: 30 minutes for $3.90, 60 for $5.90, 200 for $13.90 or 500 for $29.90. In the iOS and Android apps, Pro is $4.99 a month for 60 minutes and Max is $8.99 a month for 180 minutes. AI dubbing is a separate step and also uses credits.

Rask AI's plan cards list Creator at $39 a month for 25 minutes ($28 a month billed yearly), Creator Pro at $99 a month for 100 minutes and Business at $249 a month for 250 minutes. Monthly minutes do not roll over. On Creator, that works out to about $1.56 per minute (dubbing included), compared with $0.13 per minute for translation and burned-in subtitles with VidDub's smallest pack.

Choose VidDub if

  • You want translated subtitles burned into the video, in one language or bilingual.
  • You translate videos now and then and do not want a monthly plan.
  • You work from your phone and want a native iOS or Android app.
  • Your languages are on the VidDub list, such as English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic or Hindi.

Choose Rask AI if

  • The dub must sound like the original speaker (voice cloning).
  • You need lip sync, so mouth movements match the new language.
  • You need a language VidDub does not offer; Rask AI lists 135+.
  • You want to edit the transcript line by line, or need an API.
